Once upon a time: Fanny and Thomas
On November 25, 2016, Jean — a friend of Thomas — decided to organize a Melting Potes party. The idea? Each friend had to invite someone new! Juliette was invited by Jean, who invited Fanny and Laura. Are you following? Once we arrived, our eyes met and we didn’t leave each other’s side for the rest of the evening! Hand in hand, we walked through Paris and started getting to know each other.

Travel, travel
We quickly realized that we shared the same thirst for discovering new places and cultures by traveling to other countries. Together we set off to explore Portugal, Thailand, Spain, Italy, England...

The Viennese waltz
“And what about Vienna, would you like that?” In 2019, we decided to move to Vienna in Austria for three years. After a few German classes and with Fanny’s driving license in hand, we set off to conquer Austria for three years! We were far from imagining how much we would both fall in love with this city.

Paris, baby!
Three years later, we are back in Paris, where it all began! We move into the little “village” of Pernety in the 14th arrondissement and reunite with our friends and families.

The marriage proposal
New Year’s Day 2023, we’re off to London, the city closest to our hearts, where we both spent our Erasmus year. After exploring London’s neighbourhoods and watching *Love Actually*, we spent a wonderful evening in Covent Garden, and Thomas popped the question: ‘Will you marry me?’ in front of the huge Christmas tree. A kiss and a resounding “YES” later, here we are, engaged and happier than ever.

We dance the MIA
On 18 July 2024, time stood still for us, and we find ourselves captivated by our Mia’s big eyes. A new life is beginning – and what a life it is!

Our civil wedding
On 19 October 2024, we are getting married in a civil ceremony at the Town Hall of the 14th arrondissement. It will be a day filled with love that we will cherish forever.
